Hello! My name is Jiyoung and I am the founder and owner of Oma Organix.
The journey to starting Oma Organix isn't just an obsession with elderberries and their amazing health benefits - they have helped me in my personal journey in fighting cancer. I got pregnant shortly after getting diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Chemotherapy wasn't an option, so I turned to elderberries. Now, cancer-free, I still start every day with a shot of homemade elderberry syrup! In 2020, in the midst of chaos, fear, and uncertainties due to the pandemic, I started Oma Organix. I hoped to bless others as this berry has blessed my family. It was a huge risk and leap of faith. Never had I imagined I would open my own business. Now my products have grown from elderberry syrup to include kombucha, iced tea, and even infused honey. I've also partnered with other small businesses to make elderberry chocolates, ice cream, macaroon, muffin, cookies, scrubs, soap, earrings, and more. Every item is made with love and attention by someone who really cares about what they make and even more so when the product has given you a second chance at living a longer life.
